[Ti] replacement batteries?

Getting back to my original intention for this thread; has anyone any 
experience with some of the third-party Ti batteries that reportedly 
give longer life than Apple's?  I'm looking into all options for the 
battery that I end up buying.  I would appreciate any feedback about 
brands to try or avoid.
