Can you borrow a fresh battery from somebody or somebodies power 
adapter? My power adapter crashed at one time and I connected an 
allready low battery over night without opening the screen. The next 
morning I had a dead computer no matter what.  A new power adapter and 
a fresh battery at an Apple support center but it back in order, so try 
it at least.
