[Ti] My Ti 500 sounds like a big Block V8 at 1500RPM

John - my Ti-500 used to sound very noisy, due to the CD drive, which 
Apple replaced.  I think it was out of balance some how and with a 
disk in, the sound was awful.  Is your noise related to that ?

I also had problems withmy first hard drive, wAs far as I know, only 
the CD drive and the gard drive are running at high speed.  The only 
over moving part is the cooling fam, which was also quite loud on my 
Ti-500.

Can you identify the sound as coming from any one fo these sources?
