Sam - I had previously complained about battery life on my 15"
Al-book compared to the Ti-book.

Things did get better (see m my post from December, appended)
but now I am back down to about 1h 10 min on a full charge, running 10.3.3.

If I quit Folding at Home, which keeps the CPU at 100%, I get an extra 20 min.

Whatever the root cause, just 1 hour or so of battery life is really
not acceptable for a laptop.

Subject: [Ti] Battery Update 1.1

Whereas previosly I was bemoaning the poor battery live on my 15.2"
FW800, I noticed that after:

1. turning BlueTooth off

2. draining the battery completely and fully recharging it

3. installing Battery Update 1.1,

my battery life has increased significantly.

I get the impression that it was the Battery Update that made the
largest difference.

It now shows at least 2h on full charge. Right now it is showing 2 h
35 (full screen brighness).
The most it has shown is 3h.

So somewhere between 50% and 100% more than last week. :-)

Not as good as the Ti-500 was, but now "acceptable" I think.

regards, Trevor
