I would say it is "pretty thin".  If a pile of it were left on a tabletop,
it would spread out to a height of maybe 2 mm.

So I would say that it is probably not ABS, and probably not carbon-fiber
reinforced, and maybe polycarbonate, but the important discovery you made,
for the record, is that Ambroid Proweld will fix it.
