Just like to report that with the use of MacWrite Pro, installed in
Classic and also with the MacLink translators I found that I can read
all my archived files and translate them into AppleWorks.
The hard part is trying to install MacWrite Pro. I found you can't
use the installer which attempts to force quit everything including
the OSX Finder. It just won't work. You have to copy the files that
are to be installed on to the hard drive, unstuff them and then
manually place them where they are supposed to go in the Classic
System Folder.
Mission accomplished! Thank you all for your help.
