I have a 1gig Tibook in good condition. The display will show a lot of garbage or go blank when I open the book to a normal viewing angle. I can move the display a little and the display returns to normal. I assume this is a symptom of the display cable fraying where it goes through the hinge? I believe replacing the cable involves prying apart the display and the use of glue. Is this something I should not consider attempting myself, and if so, what are my alternatives? I have replaced drives, ram, and Wallstreet hinges, so I feel somewhat up to the task. David Olson
