There have been a lot of pictures of the iPod shuffle next to a pack of gum 
and the promotional copy compares it to a pack of gum. Since this product is 
also targeted to many people outside the Mac community, where the average 
judgment may not be as lofty, they didn't want people to get the wrong idea 
and put it to other creative uses.
