You have to realise that the Mac will only work with cards that have the Broadcom chipset. Most cards out there have the Atheros chipset which is not compatible unless you get a driver to work with it. In my case I use a 3Com card 3CRPAG175 that is Atheros based, but there is a driver that can be downloaded from the 3Com web site that allows it to work with OS X. Or you can use one of the other cards (D-Link, Linksys, etc) and spend a little more to download the Orangeware drivers that are compatible with almost all Altheros cards. There is a list on the Orangeware site of all cards that have been tested and found to work with Orangeware software. Actually the Altheros based cards are at least theoretically much faster then the Airport Extreme (Broadcom) cards when all the options are enabled. jg On 18-Jul-05, at 12:00 AM, zefred wrote: > I tried several of them but none seemed to work... pretty weird > since almost all of them are supposed to be compatible with the Ti... > > My Ti is running 10.3.9 and is a 1Ghz model with 1G ram. > > Any advice ? > > Zefred > > _______________________________________________ > Titanium mailing list > Titanium at listserver.themacintoshguy.com > http://listserver.themacintoshguy.com/mailman/listinfo/titanium > > Listmom is trying to clean out his closets!
