Yes - if I ever have to recommend a PC laptop, I recommend IBM. A while back I spec'd 7 laptops for a small school, all Dell, and regretted it. Henceforth, I've only recommended IBM's. They didn't fail so much as just were really flimsy and junky. And had some interesting networking problems. Overall my experience with apple build quality has been good, I just know that there have been some problems that could have been prevented.
