Thanks for trying Kynan... I really appreciate your help... this is a  
DAT file upgrade that contains no "uninstaller". All the links that  
I've tried are the same. The dmg is not around. I threw mine away  
some time ago. I'm lucky that I was able to stop VShield from running.
