[Ti] I'm thinking that the two gigs of RAM I installed could be the problem

Back to the original (occasional) problem of dark screen and sleep light
when attempting to startup, I found this

Other problems were a lit screen and startup chimes again and again
until I shut the unit down, and a couple of kernal panics.

Since I had already switched my 2 one-gig sticks of RAM, I have
contacted the people the RAM came from and asked if I could send the 2
gigs back to them for testing. No response yet.
