Your G4 has a specific kind of hard drive.  You can look it up on  
Apple's support website <http://www.apple.com/support/powerbook/> or  
in System profiler under the Black Apple > about this mac > more  
information on your machine if it's working.  EveryMac.com will also  
get you to the hardware specifications for your machine.
