When our home DVD player died (they seem to only last a year or so for  
us), I put my old Ti-book into service.

We use it in dual-monitor mode, with the second video out and  
headphone jack audio connection going into the front panel camcorder  
input on our A/V receiver. The picture is pretty good!

Just wish it had remote control like my MacBook Pro!
