Hello Fred:
I appreciate your offer, my situation just got worse. I started to got through the install again that you suggested, and the first thing that started to happen was it would not eject any disk, or shut down.  I had to remove power then  hold down the mouse button to eject the disk.

So I thought would install my Panther 10.3 and this might clean up the new problem. So this was done and went through the set-up. This version also would allow me to download LeopardAccess. Due to other things I shut down. The next time on boot-up, wow it freezes the screen at the appearance of the Apple icon show up and a 1 inch horizontal band with the bottom at the top part of the Apple icon and a 1/2 inch band about 1 inch below that. The 2 bands have about every other pixel missing.

Any thoughts on getting out of this situation?
