Can I put a harddisk that used to live in a pc laptop in my tibook to replace its dead harddisk? And how do I get MacOS 10.4 back on it as it came installed with it and I have no cd's around here... Are there tibook downloads?<BR>

I guess it would depend a bit on the drive from the PC. The Ti uses a 9.5mm height ATA drive. <BR>
As far as Tiger or Leopard goes...depending on which model Ti you have...you can buy either...a Google search will provide numerous options...ck eBay, etc as well.<BR>
The 400-800 chips will run Tiger, the 867 and 1Ghz Ti will run Tiger and Leopard.<BR>
Didn't you have a backup you could use to restore your new drive? If not, good thing to do in the future.<BR>
