And another approach I tried yesterday is to use iPhoto. Create all the 
frames. Drag them to iPhoto. Make an album, with all the frames in the 
correct order. Select the album and choose File > Export > QuickTime. 
Wait a few minutes. Voila, a QT movie, with a sound track if you like.
