[X-Apps] Adobe Creative Suite Installer crashes

I experienced exactly this issue and Adobe engineers found a solution, 
at least in my case and some others. The problem is (get ready to 
laugh) a font conflict in the installer. The solution is to disable 
*all* fonts using Font Book. Make sure you are disabling whole 
collections, in the left-hand column. Then install, then enable all 
fonts.

Other than that, the CS has worked well for me.
