[X-Apps] Problem with Adaptec 2906 or Agfa ScanWise X

The scanner showing up eight times may be the problem...but the ids ARE set
correctly (5 and 6). After seeing so many emails about scanners and system
10.3 today, I decided to reboot into system 9. On my way there I saw that I
had backed up system 10.2 onto a hard drive and it came up as an option to
reboot into 10.2. I did and the scanner works just fine! This will be a pain
(like running quark in system 9 instead of classic) but it will put off the
purchase of a new firewire scanner for a bit...
