WebCams

Has anyone seen comparisons of various webcams that are Mac compatible. My
son wants one desperately. Most of his friends have Wintel boxes, so my
uninformed impression is that there wouldn't be any particular advantage
(now) for him to use Apple's camera, other than the ease of mounting it to
his screen. I've read that the iSight does work with Yahoo messenger. Will
it work with REGULAR iChat? AIM?

The only competition we saw visiting CompUSA was Logitech's Quickcam Pro
4000 (in the box; none were installed, and the Apple Store within a Store
didn't seem to have any iSight cameras). (We never did find a salesman).

My son has a Sawtooth 450 MHz G4 with the 15 inch flat panel Apple display
that was available concurrently.
