In general, the "maximum" hard drive size is mostly determined by the
hard drive interface.  Ross's statement are true for any Mac that does
not have ATA/133 or Serial ATA.  Otherwise, you can exceed the 137 GB
limit if your Mac has either at least ATA/133 or Serial ATA interfaces
(built-in or expansion card), or uses an external Firewire drive that
contains an ATA/133 or Serial ATA IDE-to-Firewire bridge.
