This will search invisible folders, which WILL include the Trash. Plus, if you customize your toolbar ("View -> Customize Toolbar..."), you can add a search bar option to all your windows. So, if for some reason you find the above suggestion not to your liking, then at least you don't have to pick thru the trash (yuck ;-) -- just open the Trash and type what you want to find in the search toolbar for a Trash-specific search.
