Sorry if this does not show up right, a bit green around the gills yet. That said, I wonder about default timings in OS X (10.2.5 running on eMac G4, 700MHz with 512MB). Specifically when setting up the built-in screen saver to pull pictures from a "slide folder", it is possible to select a variety of interesting "display options". To do so one selects "systems Preferences" from the dock & clicks on "screen effects", and then on the "configure" button that appears. In my case this brings up a sequential picture set of my beloved wife & daughter. Alas, too quick is each faded from my sight leaving a wistful longing to hold them a little longer in my view. Thus my question is how to adjust the length of time & speed that each picture zooms across my desktop when the screen saver runs. Where are the default values for this timing kept within OS X (10,2.5). If any gentle soul can assist I would be much obliged. Thank you. Patrick James MD
