Where do downloads go?

Hello

I'm using Mac OS X 10.2.1 on an iBook.

Yesterday I downloaded from the Yahoo Group of which I was the 
Owner/Moderator, a list of members, before deleting the Group so I 
could start it again under a different format. You can't do that - 
start again, I mean - NOT for 3 weeks.

I don't know that the file was called. Any idea where I will find it?
