[X Newbies] New OS-X 10.2 Install

So if I were to reinstall on the eMac, what would the size of the first 
two partitions be for installing X, 9, and then leaving one for all else? 
Where do the apps get installed? The eMac has apps included...how does 
that figure in?

So confusing :-\
