[X Newbies] Making PDF files readable in v5.0 for 9

YES.

Probably AppleWorks or TextEdit, the only two WPs that came with X.

There is just a choice to save as PDF, and I assumed it was a UNIVERSAL 
PDF and not a proprietary X PDF...or is it?

This is when the file is sent to someone on an OS 9 only machine to be 
read in AR 5.05.
