Hello

Plenty of Help on this list  and from on-line tutorials, especially 
from Pioneer.

First of all, go to System Profiler  and post what model DVD you have 
installed?. Pioneer A04 or AO5 or ?

Then post the DVD-R media you have; 1X,2X or  4X   -R or -RW
BTW. It must be -R and NOT +R media!
Apple only supports -R DVD media
