[X Newbies] Ordering a Book on iPhoto

Dennis -  I've locked pix from left to right but I am getting blank 
pages (not locked)  to the right which I can not figure out how to 
delete and the pix at the far right of the book have disappeared 
completely - but  they still remain in place in "organize" mode.  Any 
thoughts?  This is getting frustrating.  Any commercial services on the 
net do these books better?
