Hardly. If Konrad had ethernet between his iMac and the Wintel machine, 
what would have prevented him to download files directly to his iMac? 
Presumably, his iMac is at home, where he connects via a regular phone 
line, and the PC at school or work, hooked up to a T1. A CD-RW (or, 
perhaps better, an external USB hard disk) is all he can do -- 
elementary, my dear Watson!
