[X Newbies] OT? Cable modem recommendation

This summer Comcast swapped out all the "old" cable modems in my area 
(Eastern Massachusetts) with motorola SurfBoard cable modems (SB 5100). 
Works fine. They said the old ones wouldn't work when they finalized 
the rollover from AT&T Broadband to Comcast. I believe you'll find the 
modems for sale at Circuit City &/or similar chains.
