Thanks for the info, but what would you suggest as a regular maintenance
schedule?  

I've now repaired permissions from the install disk but Cocoaspell still
doesn't work. [sigh..]  I'll try installing an app later today and see
what happens.  Got to get some work done over at the Uni now.
