[X Newbies] Picture Stamp on email messages?

You will always see your picture on mail sent to yourself. What we need
to confirm is whether your mail sent to other people displays your
picture. Your email that I am responding to did not have a picture with
it. Neither did Birgit's email.

Birgit, I believe that the Address Book may play a role in this too. If
you don't already, you might try creating an entry in Address Book for
yourself and setting the photo there, then see what happens. Also, I
know that photos sent by other people and received by your Apple Mail
program are cached in one or more of the following locations on your
computer (on my system at least - 10.3.3 Panther):
<user home directory>/Library/Caches/com.apple.Addressbook &
com.apple.addressservices. From what I've read, removing one of these
cached files will allow any photo being sent to to now take precedence
and show up rather than this cached photo for that person.

I will keep looking into this as long as nobody else comes up with the
definitive answer, simply because my curiosity is piqued. :-)
