On the windows-based computers at his school my son can access a command to "centre across block" when working with a spreadsheet. I can't find a similar command in Appleworks 6.2.9 and the click and drag action that sounds like it should do lead to the same thing only relocates the cell. Any suggestions. Thanks, Stephen
