You can have any file you wish "magically" turn into (apparently) an iTunes MP3 file by changing its type to "MPG3" and creator to "hook". It will have the right icon, and iTunes will launch when the file is double-clicked. Of course, it won't do anything, because the file hasn't been converted to the MP3 format -- in fact, the file hasn't been modified, only the metadata has. I suggest reading a recent post on this list to understand the issue of linking files to applications. f
