Nisus Thesaurus is based on WordNet. You may be interested in another 
free app which can access WordNet and other dictionaries, 
OmniDictionary <http://www.omnigroup.com/applications/omnidictionary/>. 
If you have broadband, it's probably best to use OmniDictionary as a 
straight network dict client; if you don't, you can download the 
dictionaries and a Java server and use OD locally.
