[X Newbies] Mail not collecting mail

Today, my .mac mail account kept asking for password and rejecting it,
then it would turn the account to offline. 2 things. Apple .mac mail
seems to have been down during the day off and on, and also I was sent
an infected email and two emails explaining the infected email from the
company that inadvertently sent it. I do not know if any of this had
anything to do with the fact that my .mac account was giving me
trouble, all my other mail accounts were fine. Apple Mail sure makes
life interesting. Birgit
