This is the driver you need and yes the last update was for OS 10.2.1, 
posted on 11/27/2002:

Again, when adding the driver, I would check for the selection Epson 
USB in the drop down menu.
I had the same thing happen to me when I installed C86 drivers -- and 
it acted as if there weren't any detected when I had just installed 
them.
