- open the Little Snitch preference pane - "click the lock to make changes" - click on the gear tab (next to the "All Rules" tab) and select "Preferences..." - check ON the "Confirm the Little Snitch alert automatically" checkbox - click ON the Automatically "Deny" connections radio button - click on "Save" Finally, delete any rulesets for the "Word" application. Now run Word again and let Little Snitch catch it trying to reach the alien mothership.
