[X-Newbies] Apple Script-Ref: Slow Start Up

John,

I know you didn't write it but maybe you or someone else can tell me 
why it doesn't seem to do anything on my system? I followed your 
instructions, Copy>Past into Script Editor>Compile>Run. When I click 
Run it just flashes for a second then stops. You mentioned that it 
would ask for my password but it never does. Any ideas? I'm running 
10.3.8.
