[X-Newbies] Disc 'icon' stays on screen

Sometimes when I burn a CD from iTunes the CD icon remains on the 
screen even after the CD has been ejected. I noticed this starting 
after I upgraded all my systems to 10.3.8

What am I doing to cause this?
