Oh, yes, definitely! If you have a crashed hard drive, and need Disk Warrior, it is a godsend. I've had Disk Warrior save a trashed hard drive from me under OS 9. Fortunatly, under OS X, there seem to be far fewer stories of Macs corrupting their directories and folks needing Disk Warrior to ressurect their hard drive. But it, unfortunately, still happens to some folks, as you have found out the hard way, Robert. That doesn't mean that everyone needs to run out and purchase Disk Warrior, though. However it is nice to know that in such an instance you can get Disk Warrior and it may save your bacon. Randy B.
