It is. The only difference is that you create five (or seven,  
depending on how many days a week you work) folders ONE TIME. That's  
all you ever have to do -- the rest is done automatically.

I think you're still fundamentally misunderstanding the whole idea.

What differences does it make whether it's a "smart folder" or a  
"normal folder?" The items are still there, still clickable, and self- 
updating.

I didn't mention the idea, but it's certainly something Automator  
could handle.

Claiming that the Macintosh is inferior to Windows because most  
people use Windows is like saying that all other restaurants are
