Dear all, again I have to ask for your help. A couple of months ago I tried to connect to the Internet using CDMA. To be more precise, my Mac Mini (sys 10.4.0), a Nokia 6585, a CA-42 cable, the "NokiaCDMAhacked" driver and A local (Jakarta) StarOne subscription. However, every time I tried to connect, I would fail, with my Mac saying "Cannot negotiate connection with remote PPP server. Please check your settings and try again" I had to take a training after that, so I abandoned any further attempts. Now I'm back, and I'm still confused as to why I can't connect. My question is this: with the Mac saying "Cannot negotiate connection with remote PPP server. Please check your settings and try again" does the fault lies with a) the Nokia driver b) the settings, e.g. in Network control panel c) Lack of or lousy CDMA connection in my area (I can make phone calls just fine) d) bad or damaged CA-42 driver e) all of the above, or something else entirely? Thanks in advance for any assistance/aid you can give me.
