[X-Newbies] Computer icon on desktop.

Hi Steve,

Yes there is. Finder --> preferences -> general. Unfortunately, that
isn't what I want. I want to keep them away from the desktop, but be
able to access them all from a "computer" icon on the desktop. This
behavior would be similar to  Linux (gconf-editor) where you can
choose to have a computer icon on the desktop.
