Actually, that's not the case.  Cut and paste will destroy just about all 
formatting.  

TextLightning does a fair job of approximating the fomatting in a PDF 
document in its conversion to the .DOC format.  It is far from perfect, 
but for the price ($27), it does an admirable job.

OmniPage Pro, which costs hundreds of dollars, does an even better job, 
as it can recognize different, and even complex, zones on the page and it 
approximates formatting for these.  But unless you need a high-end OCR 
program, OPP costs to much to purchase just for this task.
