[X-Newbies] What to do when a imac is frozen

Choose one:

>From the Apple menu, choose "Force Quit..." and select the offending
program.

On the keyboard, press the ESC key while holding down the OPTION and COMMAND
keys.

Use your mouse to click and hold on the application's icon in the Dock.
Choose QUIT or FORCE QUIT from the pop-up menu.

If you cannot restart or shut down, it may be the Finder which is stuck.
