You might try setting up a combination of smtp auth and a relay
host.  Do you have a machine at home that you can connect to all
the time?  If so, you can send email to it over a non-standard
port via smtp auth and then have it use your isp as a relay host.

Although, I may have missed the mark, b/c I'm not sure exactly
how you have your stuff setup.
