[X-Unix] Start, re-start? again & again?

because the installer expects a GOOD volume...

the volume is damaged...

the installer doesn;t like that so there fore it refuses to allow 
install on a questionable volume...

Disk Utility WILL see it because Disk Utility is designed to repair 
some disk problems...

and also DU can see a drive that needs formatting...

...that's it's job ya'know.
