I just added a couple Windows Server 2003 boxes and have no trouble connecting to them through SMB from Mac OS X 10.3.4.

Is this new server in the same domain? (or any domain?) Are there Windows shares setup on it? If not, do you have adminstrator access, and if so, can you mount smb://servername/c$?

More info please.
