Sometime in August Eric F Crist assaulted the keyboard and produced:

| How, exactly, would that operate? Would it be as simple as I stated
| above, or would it require reconfiguration of the web browser on the
| client's machine?

First you install squid on your server call it bob.com -- normally it runs
on port 3128. Then on the client you tell the webbrowser to use a proxy
server. For example in firefox: edit --> preferences --> general -->
connection settings. Select manual proxy configuration, and put bob.com and
3128 for your server and proxy port, respectively.

 liberty and democracy?
